missing teeth and fishing for frogs

she was so proud that she pulled this tooth out all by herself

and then did it again 6 days later

 while we were camping at grandpa roger's

instead of fishing for fish--

the kids had the best time catching frogs

it started out by accident

when a hungry frog chomped down on sofie's fishing bait

however, it turned out to be the highlight of their weekend

and...it kept them busy for hours

we've gone back twice since these photo's were taken

and besides the swimming pool

this is their favorite thing to do!

but--remember to be quiet or you'll scare the frogs away!!!

were 1 when they met

i'm so thankful she has such special friends

 

bikes and friends

a couple weeks ago we met some friends at our school playground

about the same time that my computer broke

i'm updating tonight from my in-law's

we are all homeschoolers

9 girls and 2 boys

it was a fun morning of playing and riding bikes

 with good friends

my cowgirl

lia had her 1st day of riding lessons yesterday

her teacher, greta, goes to church with us

she has wanted to take lessons for some time now

her lesson was an hour and 1/2

sam took her

and i made him take my camera

she learned how to care for a horse

how to lead a horse

how to get the horse to go and stop

sam said she asked a lot of questions

which is a great talent of hers

she loved every second of it

and can't wait to go back next tuesday!
