this boy

...can sleep

he was just a little guy when he fell asleep in the clothes basket...

 not long after that...looks comfy??

shortly after we moved into our new home sam and i were headed up to bed and found him here...

this was about a year ago during nap-time---under the girls bunk-beds

probably taken the next day

and then yesterday--while sitting in time-out!!

oh how i love this boy!!

hair fru-fru

the girls and i had some fun yesterday making these---

i've been wanting to buy them some for awhile now--
but they are just so expensive...

bought the headbands and clips at the dollar store for $1 each--totaling $3 plus tax.  we had everything else in our craft stuff...

i saw these felt clips on a website and they were completely adorable.  they looked easy enough to make--so here's our attempt.

 the girls LOVE them!!
hot glue guns rock!!!!!

kamp krieger

...was this weekend!
out of the 107 total family members,
94 were present this weekend.
we celebrated grandpa bub's 91st birthday (which was on halloween) as well as grandpa and grandma bub's 69th wedding anniversary!!!
beautiful weather, great conversation, yummy food, and the annual wiffle ball tournament filled this fun weekend!

most of the family arrived sometime friday afternoon.  after dinner the room is always filled with multiple conversations and kids running EVERYWHERE!! it's always a late night...in an attempt to settle the kids down(this was around 10:30) we turned on a movie for the first time in the 8 years we've had this reunion.

this is just a few of the younger cousins

the kids don't look tired at all...

these 3 didn't last long...they just couldn't sit still!!
kye, josh and josie--all born within 3 months of each other

the next morning after breakfast everyone heads out for the annual wiffle ball tournament.  kye got a little tackle football in with cousin jessie before the tourney started!

he was a happy camper...

that spent much of his day playing football with any cousin that would play

getting ready for opening ceremonies

sam driving grandpa bub out to the field to throw out the first pitch

the national anthem

sofie staying warm on this beautiful but chilly morning

cousins lou and pearl playing peek-a-boo with kye who is in the van

this girl spent much of her weekend hanging out with the youngest member of the warner family--jacob

kye and joshua

these 2 had the best time together

ahhh, the craft table!!  notice all the girls with their hair in multiple braids--proof that cousin hannah was in the house!!

this girl wouldn't miss a chance at making crafts...

or having her hair and make-up done

best cousins--lia and esther!!
they were inseparable all weekend!

esther, lia and amelia

until next year...
