today was our annual trip to old threshers
we always park in town and ride the old white bus out...
last year kye pulled the fire alarm on the back door
so as soon as we sat down i gave a quick
lecture, i mean lesson, on how not to pull that red lever
these huge work horses are always are first stop
just so happened a lady from our town was there
and offered the kids a seat
every year we take photos here
and every year the kids act like it's their first time
riding the trolley over to the indian village
the schoolhouse
before coming to old threshers, this trolley was in milan, italy
this kid brought her own money and spent most of it on food for herself and her brother and sister.
she confidently sported this blue mouth after purchasing a lifetime jawbreaker which is now in our trash can.
she could have cared less that she had half a blue face
and this guy apparently thought we were going to our friends, the daschers, because when the bus pulled up at old threshers he was instantly ticked when he couldn't see his friend, emma.
and he stayed that way til we found these guys...
he was a real peach

so we get settled in at the saloon ready for the show
i turn around to get something out of my bag
and when i turn back around
this is what i see
the retired ex-sheriff giving my kids root beer shots
what do you do
so, i just smiled and took some photos
i could tell by their faces that they weren't impressed with having
to drink that root beer so fast...
couldn't be happier
finished up our outing with a little good cowboy/bad cowboy
and really considered leaving them in here
instead i brought home 3 exhausted kids after a fun day!
