eight

one month ago today we celebrated lia's golden birthday!

8 on the 8th

i had every intention of making a really big deal of this 

golden birthday event

however, that didn't happen.

so we settled with a day of doing things lia loves most

we opened gifts as soon as she woke up

donuts for breakfast

then we picked up her friend alyssa and headed to

fun city for some swimming

happy joes for yummy pizza and a hot fudge sundae

then back to our house to enjoy the cake lia baked, frosted and decorated!

i really think she could have used a few more sprinkles.
